Which cable category is recommended for new installations in the UAE?
Cat6A is the current UAE standard for new structured cabling installations — it supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet, full PoE++ for 90W devices, and has a much longer usable life than Cat6. For data center server-to-switch links, Cat8 is increasingly specified.
